Help me increase lung cancer survival!
Did you know that lung cancer causes more deaths than prostate, breast, and pancreatic cancer COMBINED? But lung cancer receives less funding per death than prostate, breast, or pancreatic cancer.
I think there might be a false stigma that those who get lung cancer are smokers. 10 years ago, I lost my mom to lung cancer, a non-smoker who lived a pretty healthy lifestyle. She fought hard, and put up a good fight, but unfortunately, a lot of the treatment ended up doing more harm than good.
This year, in her honor, I want to help bring awareness to and raise funds to help support lifesaving lung cancer research and education programs focused on making surviving lung cancer the expectation, not the exception. You have the power to give families hope when a loved one is facing a lung cancer diagnosis.
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity. Together, we can make a difference for each and every person whose life has been touched by lung cancer.
