3rd Annual Manhattan Strides for Life

In 2008 Team JPS was formed. The team was named for Gambrelle's late father, J. Phillip Snyder who passed away in 2001, just 6 short weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer.  We started out as a small team of 3 walkers and have since grown to be something incredible!

In 2014, Gambrelle's dear friend Dana and her family suffered the terrible loss of "Bubbles". Dana, having already been a Team JPS member helped to expand the team. We became the bigger and better Team JPS Bubbles.  Since 2014, Team JPS Bubbles has raised ~$112,000 on behalf of LCRF.  We are honored that every year our friends and family participate and/or donate to this cause which we hold so dear. We know the money raised won't bring our loved ones back - but we can only hope that it helps to shed more light on how to cure this disease. 

Since Covid has permanently cancelled the Southampton event - we have adjusted accordingly and brought the 3 miler to Manhattan!  This year, Team JPS Bubbles will hold it's 3rd Annual Manhattan Strides for Life on Sunday, August 13th.
