Help me improve lung cancer outcomes!
I am so proud to be part of the Lung Cancer Research Foundation's 2020 Kites for a Cure on Sunday August 31. I am a social worker in the NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center program and every day I have the honor of meeting and speaking with patients and families who teach me so much about living with grace and intention. I am part of the lung cancer community of patients, families and colleagues at PCC and on Sunday August 31 we will fill the sky with color, light and hope. We aim to bring attention to the healing power of lung cancer research. I hope you will join me in flying a kite. There are no expectations, but, if it is also convenient for you to donate a few dollars, please do. If not, that is fine - our main concern is you - your safety, your health, your happiness and your kite! I hope you will e-mail me a photograph of your kite so I can place it in a beautiful presentation I will create and share with you. .
Families may fly a kite to honor a loved one. We will never forget patients who remain dear to our hearts. We are also honoring caregivers. Together, we can make a difference for each and every person whose life has been touched by lung cancer.
