Help kick cancer's KRAS!!
My journey with lung cancer began with what I perceived as allergy and asthma-like symptoms. I developed pneumonia, which led to identification of a tumor and diagnosis of Stage 3 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Since then I have had three recurrences. I didn’t find out until I was three years into her journey that I had a KRAS mutation - and what that meant for my prognosis and options. Sadly, like the majority of KRAS lung cancer patients, we do not have any targeted therapy or treatment. Research is not going fast enough. My hope is by raising funds specifically for KRAS research options can be found for all of us, including me.
As cancer patients, we’re always looking for commonalities. I wanted to connect with other people who had a cancer caused by a KRAS mutation, but I found there wasn’t a specific way to do that -- or a group dedicated to KRAS. So, I founded KRAS Kickers to bring together the folks that KRAS affected – the patients and those who love us.
KRAS is the mutant in the three deadliest cancers: lung, colorectal & pancreatic. Although we know what is causing the cancers there are a shortage of treatments. So, I am raising funds for KRAS research with KRAS Kickers to increase research through the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate today.
Your tax-deductible donation helps fund lifesaving KRAS lung cancer research focused on making surviving lung cancer the expectation, not the exception. You have the power to give families hope when a loved one is facing a lung cancer diagnosis.
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
Together, we can kick KRAS.
