The Fourteenth Annual Chicago Lung Run is a 10K, 5K and 1-mile run/walk hosted by the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF). Proceeds benefit LCRF and its mission to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer.
This year's Lung Run took place on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Chicago's Montrose Harbor. More than 725 runners and walkers participated.
Participants came from the Chicago community, as well as the surrounding areas, and included seasoned runners, first-time runners, teams, families, children, lung cancer patients and survivors. It was an inspiring morning of great hope and promise. We look forward to next year's run!
