Through these uncertain times when so much is unknown, one thing remains constant: lung cancer is taking more lives than any other cancer, and those statistics are heightened due to the pandemic.
Every one of us has been challeneged by this in different ways, but we're looking forward to continuing our tradition of participating in the Free to Breathe walk in memory of Terry.
However, this year will look a little different to ensure everyone's safety. Instead of gathering in-person, we will come together virtually and walk together, but separately, with teams from around the country as a united community.
If you'd like to honor Terry's memory, and all of those facing a lung cancer diagnosis, please join me by walking with Team Terry on 10/3 and/or donating to support the team.
The money we raise together will support the Lung Cancer Research Foundation and its mission to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer. On event day, our team will enjoy being together, but the real reward is that we're raising funds that will save lives. You can help us bring hope to those affected by lung cancer.
