Help me increase lung cancer survival!
On August 26th, our family will be participating in the 2018 Chicago Lung Run in honor of our sister-in-law (and Aunt) Lesley. Lesley lost her battle to lung cancer on July 15th. She was a healthy, fit, vibrant young woman blind-sided by diagnosis of Stage IV Lung cancer while pregnant with her second child. Lesley endured this disease for 2 years 9 months. She went through the worst of the worst when it comes to cancer. And yet she never complained. Without the drug that was Tagrisso that came to market the very month of diagnosis, she would not have had these extra years with her young kids Lachlan and Camden, husband Chris, family, and friends. Those years were a gift, a miracle for all of us who love her.
Please help us give other families their own miracle. Your donation helps fund lifesaving lung cancer research focused on making surviving lung cancer the expectation, not the exception. Lung cancer kills more women than breast, ovarian, and cervical cancers combined and yet it receives far less research funding than other cancers. You have the power to give families hope when a loved one is facing a lung cancer diagnosis.
Thank you for your support and generosity!
