Honoring my mom and raising money for lung cancer research!
Hey there, thanks for visiting and helping me raise money for LCRF to increase lung cancer survival!
As you may know, I lost my mom to this illness in September 2018. She was diagnosed in 2014 and endured many battles over the years but never stopped smiling and making people laugh.
This March, I am participating in the United Half Marathon that stretches from Brooklyn through Manhattan for 13.1 miles while raising money for lung cancer research! I'm extremely excited to be working with LCRF again as this will be my third event fundraising with them!
My mom was my #1 fan, always cheering me on in sports, races, and life, and I hope to give back the same energy by joining a team that fights for anyone and everyone affected by this illness. Oh and her favorite number was 13 so seems fitting to run that many miles to honor her!
It would mean so much to me if you could help me raise funds for LCRF so that someday those diagnosed with lung cancer can a live a long and healthy life.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for taking the time to join me in this fight - if you knew my mom, then you know how much of an impact she had on everyone around her and I'm so grateful for you honoring her in this way.
Thank you always for your support and generosity.
Much love,
Billie
