2019 Athens Free to Breathe Run/Walk

Lungs N Roses

Welcome to the Lungs 'N Roses Team Page!

Thank you all so much for your interest in Lungs 'n Roses. This year will be our 6th year participating in the Athens Free to Breathe 5k. Our team was formed by Tammi Fisher (my mom) and Erica Aronin, both diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Just over two years ago, we lost a truly amazing person in my mom, but her legacy lives on through us. Her strength, passion, and drive carry on through our continued participation! All of your love and support mean the world to our team and we hope that we can continue our fight to raise awareness and money for lung cancer research.

If you're in the Athens/Atlanta area and available on November 16th, join our team and support Free to Breathe with their mission to ensure surviving lung cancer is the expectation, not the exception. If you will not be here or are not available, donations are greatly appreciated as well! We hope you'll stand with us because together, we can make a difference to those affected by this devastating disease.

Last year, the Lungs 'N Roses teams in ATL and Athens raised over $30,000! This year, we are trying to beat it!

In order to raise as much money as possible this year, we are encouraging each team member to raise at least $100. All it takes is a message to family and/or friends. As controversial as social media may be, it is a great way to spread awareness for events like these and raise money. Obviously, we don't expect everyone to raise that much, but if you can, it would help us out tremendously.

The money we raise together will fund vital research and patient programs that will save lives. On event day, our team will have fun together, but the real reward is that we're raising funds that will save lives. You can help us bring hope to those affected by lung cancer.

Thank you all for your interest and support! We really could not do this without all of our friends and family.
