Journey to a Cure

"You really can change the world if you care enough." - Marian Wright Edelman

It's been nearly 5 years since I became a lung cancer advocate.
Not something you typically seek out.
It finds you, when you're "affected"
Someone close.
You see 1st hand, why isn't there more ?
Who's doing something about this?
Well, then through signs you realize - why not, if not me?
Then who ?
I've been blessed to meet & see some beautiful people fighting ( and winning) this battle.
Making a difference with hope, inspiration and LOVE.
I'm in this for the long haul.
Won't you join me?

5 years ago my sister Diane lost her battle to lung cancer, since then new treatments that may have extended her life have become available,

but ONLY due to the research & advocacy made possible by people like you and me.

The reality is that lung cancer will touch all of us in some way,

Our team is taking a stand against lung cancer, and we hope you'll stand with us! Together, we can make a difference to those affected by this devastating disease. We can show the world that it's time to make surviving lung cancer the expectation, not the exception.

Here are three ways you can join us in making this vision a reality:

* Donate to a team member to support our fundraising efforts - find the team list on the right side of this page
* Click on the "Join" button to join our team
* Spread the word about our fundraising efforts by sending the link to this webpage to everyone you know

The money we raise together will fund vital research and patient programs that will save lives. On event day, our team will have fun together, but the real reward is that we're raising funds that will save lives. You can help us bring hope to those affected by lung cancer.

Please donate today and invite a friend to do the same. If you can join our team for the event, we'd love to have you!
