Help Me Increase Survival!
For many years, I have participated in the Free to Breathe Yogathon. I am passionate about supporting Lung Cancer Research. Here’s why…..
Nine years ago was my first diagnosis with lung cancer. I had the right lower lobe of my lung removed. Weekly chemo followed which was very challenging but I had lots of support from friends and family. Two years later I had a recurrence and had the left lower lobe of my lung removed. I also have chronic asthma so my breathing is somewhat compromised in the best of situations. I keep moving and looking ahead!
I know there is a strong likelihood of my having a recurrence. Research is what helps me and other’s like me remain hopeful!! I do all I can. I see my oncologist and allergist on a regular basis.
Funding research is crucial to help those of us with lung cancer and increase our survival rates.
